When I begun doing massage I chose the name Subliminal Bliss. I wanted to express that the state of bliss you leave with is way beyond relaxation and releasing muscle tension. Our physical bodies are so intertwined with our emotional, mental and spiritual state though many feel physical relief without recognizing it’s often a combination of all of the above.
Think about anger and clenched jaws or stress and a tense neck and shoulders. The term heart broken is because you physically feel pain around your heart when you feel emotionally broken. My point being is there are feelings that ignite the repetitive acts of tensing. Eventually these muscles get stuck in this state of tightness and therefore when these muscles let go, it’s common to feel a rush of emotion come out with it. Through giving and receiving massage I have seen and experienced this happen many times. Sometimes it’s subtle and sometimes it’s dramatic but something always goes.
After starting health coaching, my perspective of the mind-body connection expanded. I have learned about so many ways our bodies communicate to us about the foods we are eating. Once again mentally, emotionally and physically. Our bodies are always sending us signs from allergies, to mood swings, cravings, energy levels, cancers and digestive disorders; the list goes on and on.
The source of our intuition is the subliminal messaging happening between our body, mind and soul. This is what inspired me to help others learn the language of their body, use their intuition to nourish themselves and provide them with the knowledge and tools to sustain an abundance of health.
