Love your body and see the beauty in every little part. Even if it’s not just how you would like it to be-not curved in the right places, not thin enough in the right places, too big, too small, too light or too dark. Instead acknowledge all the extraordinary things it can do and soon all of those little critiques you have will begin to seem quite petty.
Our bodies stand against gravity carrying us whichever direction we desire to go. Our hearts never stop beating and our lungs are always breathing. Our bones grow back together, our intuitions guide us in the right direction and our bodies can literally grow another being inside of them. Our senses allow us to smell the rain, taste the different flavors, feel another’s touch, experience music in all it’s forms and to see the landscapes of the world.
Think of our ability to dance, our ability to cry and laugh and make art. When we get consumed by the different shapes and sizes we must realize that nothing could be more irrelevant when it comes to the raw beauty of our bodies. Our bodies are our souls mode of transportation that enables us to interact with this world be live in. Be grateful. Don’t judge. See the beauty in every little part.
